Introduction to Laser Scanner and its key operation principals:
  • Calculation of point counts and meshes
  • Dimension through calculation of wavelength for distance
  • Bounces and trajectories of lasers to generate point counts and meshes
  • High accuracy with horizontal and vertical scanning
  • Radial projection of 130m for outdoor and 0-10m for indoor
Introduction to FARO System and its operation :
  • Calibration of axial and horizontal axis
  • File Saving method: to reduce file sizes and proper file naming method
  • B/W and Photography mode for colour capture
  • Behavior of laser rays through transparent elements and moving objects generating blind spots
  • Setting up of coordinates for mapping and stitching of data.
