Introduction to operation of Rhino 3D Modelling:
- The difference between NURBS ( as defined as Non-Uniform Ratinal B-Splines) as a modelling tool to achieve optimum smoothness.
- The operational coordinate system in U-direction and V-direction
Introduction to basic interfaces of Rhino 3D Modelling:
- SET VIEW - Wireframe and Ghosted View to reduce file size.
- GUMBALL- Setting of coordinates to move, scale and rotate.
- C-PLANES - Planar setting to control vertical and horizontal coordinates by selecting 3 coordinates.
- VIEWPORT - Navigation of Perspective, Top, Back, Front, Left, Right
- PROPERTIES- Setting of Camera Lens length for rendering (12, 18 for interior 21,18 for exterior rendering)
- NAMED VIEWS- Setting of render views.
- UNITS - Setting of units and precision to 0.01mm
Introduction to key tools and commands for mesh modelling:
- REBUILD - Allocation and adjustment of control points for curves and polysurfaces
- PATCH - Fitting of surface through selected curves and points.
- LOFT - Creating polysurface via two curves.
- SWEEP- Creating polysurface by creating single or double trails for sweeping of curves.
- TWEEN CURVES- Creating curves by joining two input curves.
- CAGE EDIT - 2D and 3D coordinate for deforming and controlling.
- FLOW ALONG SURFACES - Morphing of objects from base surface to target surface.
