Exploration Process:
  • To experiment the possibilities of window display design through combinations of physical stage sets. 
  • To develop design possibilities of stage set through 3D modelling by designing various framing and seatings.
  • To develop possibilities of pivoting points for communication through explorative use of rotating platforms.
  • To structure hierarchy of communication through various enclosures, heights and
  • To explore understanding of rotating mechanism and how it will inform framing of views, ie solar powered rotating mechanism, physical rotating.
  • To explore multi-tiered of communication through various sizes of stage set.

Step One: Exploration of stage sets through Rhino 3D Modelling and preparing modular sets for 3D printing.

Step Two: Setting up files of .stl through viewing 3D Builder.

Step Three: Redevelop structure system from thin framing to partition to suit capacity of 100 micron printing.

Step Four: 3D Printing in Progress.
Step Five: 3D printed components ready for trimming and filing to refine the outlook of model.
Step Six: Laser cut clear acrylic parts for platforms and structure.

Step Seven: Spray painting of 3D printed components.
Step Eight: Making of clear acrylic box to contain solar-powered rotating mechanism.

Step Nine: Assembling of all components with stage platforms and stage sets.
